The Company:
A leading client side retail repositioning platform that is partnered with major private equity and institutional outfits is seeking an Asset Manager to join the growing team. With a long track record of implementing dynamic and innovative strategies via asset repositioning and development management, this role sits within a market leading team. This position will be asset manager level, and will assist a Director with the management and repositioning (including development) of a super scheme with a large project attached, as well as taking ownership of a smaller scheme.
Key role responsibilities:
Assisting with the execution of asset management initiatives.
Managing and executing all leasing and major lease events in line with asset strategy.
Assisting with the overseeing of projects - refurbishments, reconfigurations and redevelopment.
Managing third party service providers.
Interacting with tenants.
Taking an active role in reporting.
General support of senior team members in all aspects of their roles and decision-making.
The candidate:
Key attributes sought by the client include:
Qualified Chartered Surveyor.
Experience in retail property management, agency or lease advisory. Town centre asset experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Valuation experience/understanding.
Numerical and able to work with and manipulate cashflows.
A good understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong writing, reporting and presentation skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to fit into a small team and work in a broad role.
Remuneration:
The role has a salary range of £55,000 - £80,000, dependant on experience, plus a competitive bonus.
