​​The Company:

A leading client side retail repositioning platform that is partnered with major private equity and institutional outfits is seeking an Asset Manager to join the growing team. With a long track record of implementing dynamic and innovative strategies via asset repositioning and development management, this role sits within a market leading team. This position will be asset manager level, and will assist a Director with the management and repositioning (including development) of a super scheme with a large project attached, as well as taking ownership of a smaller scheme.

Key role responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the execution of asset management initiatives.

  • Managing and executing all leasing and major lease events in line with asset strategy.

  • Assisting with the overseeing of projects - refurbishments, reconfigurations and redevelopment.

  • Managing third party service providers.

  • Interacting with tenants.

  • Taking an active role in reporting.

  • General support of senior team members in all aspects of their roles and decision-making.

The candidate:

Key attributes sought by the client include:

  • Qualified Chartered Surveyor.

  • Experience in retail property management, agency or lease advisory. Town centre asset experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

  • Valuation experience/understanding.

  • Numerical and able to work with and manipulate cashflows.

  • A good understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Strong writing, reporting and presentation skills.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to fit into a small team and work in a broad role.


The role has a salary range of £55,000 - £80,000, dependant on experience, plus a competitive bonus.
