Our client is an established development company that covers every aspect of the delivery process for new buildings and the repositioning of existing properties across all sectors in the UK. Working in JVs with major institutional investors, our client has sourced and developed a range of schemes across all sectors including offices, industrial and hotels throughout the country and has an extensive current development programme.
In a role of two parts, our client is seeking a Development Analyst that part of the time will manage development appraisals, maintain cash flows throughout the development process and report to the board and JV partners. The other part of the role would be getting involved in preparing pitches for new opportunities and assisting with development management tasks.
The role would best suit a numerical surveyor looking to gain further development experience and an interest in becoming a development manager further down the line.
Required Skills and Experience
Multi sector experience to date.
Experience working at a UK property practice, consultancy, or developer.
Strong understanding of real estate valuation and finance concepts.
Exposure to development appraisals.
Able to maintain and modify financial models in Excel using formula (ability to model from scratch is not necessary - training would be provided).
Experience producing reports and presentation materials.
Genuine interest in Real Estate Development and willing to learn.
The expected salary range for this role is £50,000 - £55,000- dependant on experience-plus benefits and bonus.
