Development Manager / Development Project Manager – Residential and Retail mixed-use regeneration - London


We are currently working with a market leading investment, asset management and development business who are at the forefront of their industry. Specialising in retail and town centre regeneration and place making they have over £2 billion of assets under management and due to further growth, they are looking for a Development Manager from a project management background to join their team.



£55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits + Bonus


The Development Manager will report into the Associate Director of Development and support the 360 delivery of strategic projects. They are looking for an individual with strong project management experience in tender and management of the external contractor and consultant teams through delivery but who will also be able to input into the front-end development appraisals, cash flow and planning process.


The Development Manager will gain exposure to the 360-development lifecycle of large repurposing and re-development projects valued at circa £20+ million, re-imagining communities and placemaking to provide sustainable and inclusive future communities. In addition, the Development Manager will be providing development expertise to the Asset Management teams across the existing retail mixed-use portfolio on schemes up to c. £10 million.


Due to the future growth expectations of the business and in particular this division they are looking for a dynamic, highly driven individual who has ambitions to develop their career within this space.



  • MRICS with a degree in Project Management or Real Estate.

  • Circa 5 years’ experience overseeing the delivery of residential and mixed-use assets between £5 million and £20+ million under JCT contracts.

  • Exposure to front-end development appraisals, cashflows, budgeting and master planning and experience in public sector / local authority partnering agreements would be advantageous.

  • Good stakeholder engagement and management experience

  • A team player who wants to work in an entrepreneurial, team orientated company and is passionate about creating sustainable town centre community places.
