The Company

Our client is a leading independent real estate asset management and development management business with a long-standing track record in large, dominant assets in the retail sector. With extensive experience ranging from full development to the asset management of some of the UK’s best known shopping centres, our client is a market leader.

Due to rapid growth in recent years including some new, very prominent projects, our client is now seeking an Analyst to join their growing team.

The Role

The successful candidate will work in a full life cycle Analyst role, including some investment tasks. Responsibilities will include:

  • Periodic reporting for existing shopping centre asset management mandates.

  • Financial analysis to determine the viability of asset management initiatives (such as refurbishment or redevelopment).

  • Production of recommendation papers to support potential asset management transactions.

  • Appraisal of potential acquisitions and assistance with investment due diligence.

Candidate Requirements

Ideal candidate requirements include:

  • Degree educated RICS qualified surveyor.

  • 2 years post qualified experience within a commercial real estate investment environment, with exposure to the retail sector.

  • Financially literate.

  • Strong excel modelling skills (essential) with the ability to use and put data into an existing model.

This role has a competitive basic salary which, though there would be some flexibility, is expected to be up to c. £60,000 per annum, dependant on experience, plus benefits and a discretionary bonus.
