The Company

Our client is a substantial private property Investment Company with a large, directly managed mixed-use (predominantly offices) portfolio in Central London. The portfolio is currently undergoing a large value add programme by the asset and development management teams.

Job Purpose

To undertake and implement the strategic asset management of a commercial (office led) portfolio to add value and drive improved returns.

Responsibilities

  • Annual asset planning – participate in asset strategy meetings. Contributing to the formulation of robust asset plans for both existing assets and prospective purchases.

  • Asset management – drive and execute AM initiatives including capex programmes, new lettings, lease regears, renewals, rent reviews and dilapidations.

  • Third-party management – instruct, lead and supervise external professional teams.

  • Cost-benefit-analysis of individual asset management initiatives.

  • Transactions management – undertaking and assisting with the full transactions process.

  • Liquidity – ensuring each asset is in a ‘ready-to-sell’ position.

Candidate profile

  • MRICS qualified

  • In an existing asset management role with at least 2 years of experience in this field, ideally in a Property Company or Fund background.

  • Office asset focused experience

  • Experience with London asset management initiatives

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with a sharp commercial acumen.

  • Good understanding of leasing, rent reviews, renewals, dilapidations and refurbishment process.

Remuneration

Up to £80,000 basic salary- dependant on experience- plus benefits and competitive bonus potential.
