Role purpose

A global pension fund with a multi- billion portfolio under management is, following the acquisition of several large-scale projects, seeking an asset manager to work on their real estate Long Income Strategy. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving performance and managing risk.

Key responsibilities

  • Maximise investment performance of a portfolio of assets- offices, retail, and residential.

  • Work with the Built Environment Team and delivery main/fit out contractors for projects under construction.

  • Building mobilization plans for each asset and liaising with occupiers, external stakeholders, and retail agents (where applicable).

  • Identifying and executing value add opportunities across the assets.

  • Research, model and carry out due diligence as part of acquisitions.

  • Managing Cat- B Fit outs for large scale occupiers.

  • Manage the document repository of sites post PC.

  • Managing third parties on rent reviews, lease renewals and void re-lettings.

  • Identifying, assessing and appraise opportunities to improve sustainability credentials.

  • Preparation of the Annual Asset Strategy, Asset Plans, Quarterly Reporting and Presentations, to include asset and portfolio return modelling.

  • Engage in and lead on operational ESG initiatives.

Person Specification

  • 8 years + post qualification experience to include asset management.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Experience of asset management in relation to Cat B fit out of major office developments and mobilisation of residential assets.

  • A strong depth of experience within the residential and office sectors.

  • Understanding of valuation/appraisal, Risk, and Impact Investing.

Remuneration:

A likely basic salary of £75,000 - £90,000- dependant on experience- plus a comprehensive set of benefits (including private healthcare) and bonus.
