A strategic asset & development manager focused on retail transformation and repositioning is seeking an Asset Manager to join its growing team. With an exceptional reputation within its sector, our client works with leading private equity investors, Local Authorities and banks.

The Role

This asset management role will work on the asset management of several assets across the portfolio and report into a Director, Asset Management and Head of Asset Management. The successful candidate will work across a variety of areas including leasing, Capex projects, value-add strategies, asset management project cashflows and asset performance. Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Executing asset management initiatives.

• Participating in the execution of leasing and major lease events in line with asset strategy.

• Overseeing projects – refurbishments, reconfigurations and redevelopment.

• Managing third party service providers.

• Interacting with tenants to understand their requirements and needs.

• Working with managing agents to review and agree annual service charge budgets including apportionments, PPM and cashflow.

• Ensuring asset and project cashflows and tenancy schedule information are kept up to date and accurate.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum requirements include:

• Experience in retail property and/or asset management, agency or valuation.

• Valuation experience/understanding.

• Numerical and able to work with and manipulate cashflows in Excel.

• A good understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation.

• Negotiation and leasing skills.

• Strong writing, reporting and presentation skills.

Remuneration:

The role has a likely basic salary of up to £60,000, dependant on experience, plus competitive bonus potential.
