Role Summary:

Our client, a prominent central London Estate, is seeking an Asset Manager to their Asset Management team on a fixed term contract (c. 14 months) to cover the maternity leave of a current team member. Working on a prominent central London portfolio, the role will manage a mixture of retail, residential and offices assets.

The fixed term contract will commence in February 2023 and run for 14 months from then.

Key role responsibilities:

The focus of the role is to assist with the efficient and effective asset management of the prominent central London portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, the role responsibilities will include:

  • Play a key role in the running of the estate through the asset management of the property portfolio and its successful leasing.

  • With guidance, preparation and implementation of individual asset strategies.

  • Providing support to the Head of Asset Management and assisting with the portfolio’s strategic direction and business plan.

  • Assisting with the review, preparation and implementation of individual asset and business plans.

  • Drive sustainable rental growth through new leasing initiatives, rent reviews and lease renewals.

  • Identify opportunities and oversee the delivery of small works projects and development initiatives.

  • Assist in obtaining VP to assemble development sites.

  • Support the bi-annual valuation process.

  • Manage external consultants, contractors and agents, ensuring they fulfil their obligations.

Experience and skills requirements:

  • MRICS (ideal but not essential).

  • Ideally c. 8 years of real estate experience, with 3-5 years of experience in a high-profile retail or mixed-use portfolio or estate, and a strong preference for a central London experience.

  • Demonstrable experience in asset management, with a good landlord and tenant focus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Remuneration:

This role has a competitive basic salary which will be dependent on previous experience, and a discretionary bonus.
