Our client is a substantial private Investment Company with a large directly managed mixed-use commercial and residential portfolio, with a particular Central London concentration.
Job Purpose
This Property Management Assistant will play a key role within the Residential team, responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and assisting the management administration of the residential portfolio, driving timely reactive and proactive maintenance, utilities, and rates management, ensuring excellent audit and accountability for works and costs incurred to allow analysis and performance measurement.
Responsibilities
Lead on the management and performance of contractors engaged on reactive and planned maintenance projects.
Lead the proactive compliance management via specialist software. Including, but not limited to; gas safety certificates, EICR's, EPC's and HMO's.
Assisting experienced Property Asset Managers with all aspects of property management across a diverse portfolio (AST and block).
Assist with block management matters, liaising with Commercial Property Managers to assist budgets, insurance and ongoing/planned capital projects.
Process arrears notices where instructed (Stage 1)
Organising and administering key release and collection via software system.
Void cost management (utilities/council tax).
Candidate profile
Candidates must have at least one year of relevant experience in a similar, residential property management role
(essential)
Pride in work and a focus on delivering a top level of experience to tenants is key.
Detail orientated and articulate. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Remuneration
A likely basic salary range of £30,000- £38,000 - dependent on experience- plus benefits (including private healthcare) and bonus.
