Associate- Asset Management (Development & Disposals focused)
Background and Company
Our client is a specialist manager in real assets, private debt, credit and equity with a multi-billion portfolio under management on behalf of third-party investors.
The fund this role is working for targets mission-critical real estate across the UK and Europe and has a GAV of over €1.5bn and a substantial pool of equity remaining to deploy.
Role profile
Independently build and maintain detailed financial models to analyse asset management opportunities and portfolio level analysis
Review real estate valuation, development appraisals, residual appraisals and full detailed cashflow analysis
Co-ordinate and draft asset management committee memos and strategy papers
Take an active role in the identifying and execution of asset management initiatives
Lead individual and portfolio disposal programmes, negotiate key commercial terms, provide sales structuring recommendations and tax considerations
Responsible for the implementation of asset business plans including measuring performance and quantitative analysis related to on-going management and monitoring
Collate and report committed and actual spend against approved asset management budgets and ESG initiatives
Perform frequent portfolio updates, collating data from local teams and JV
Provide fund and client reporting to internal and external clients and investor queries
Role Requirements
Demonstrable experience in a leading real estate IM/ AM, real estate private equity fund or real estate division of an investment bank
Substantial level of skill in liaising with a range of stakeholders
Ability to commercially evaluate financial data, and present conclusions to inform business decisions
Strong knowledge & experience in analysing and modelling complex deals
Excellent financial modelling, analysis and research skills
Remuneration:
Basic salary of £80,000 - £100,000- dependant on experience- plus substantial, PE level bonus and full corporate benefits.
