A leading investment and asset management platform focused on logistics assets in Europe is seeking an Associate to join their Planning and Analysis team.
Role Overview
The Associate will be responsible for performing a variety of analytical duties which will include the development and use of financial models for varied purposes including corporate modelling and analysis of performance. Further duties include participating in the group’s yearly budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes, working directly with the CFO on strategic decision-making, and general ad hoc analysis and reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
Maintaining, updating and developing of financial reports and business performance plans
Devising and performing in-depth analysis of results and plans including Rent, Net Operating Income and Capex
Using analytical tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, Anaplan) to enable insight with respect to past, current and future performance
Bring together output from Portfolio Management (asset plans) and Treasury (funding plans) to support the corporate view
Support new business insights by combining new and existing data/information and share them with the various shareholders through dashboards, presentations, and reports
Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Demonstrable experience in planning, designing, constructing and maintaining financial models
Experience of real estate financial business model and financial dynamics
Prior experience directly supporting senior finance members with financial planning and analysis
Strong communication skills and ability to drive discussions and lead meetings
Excellent financial modelling and excel skills to include a level of comfort with VBA and advanced tools such as power pivot and power BI
Some years of experience in PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Experience in pan-European logistics would be desirable but some real estate experience is essential
Remuneration
A Salary range of £60,000- £75,000, dependant on the specific experience and skill set of the candidate, plus benefits and a strong bonus.
