Our client, a leading pan-European logistics investment platform, is seeking an Associate to join their growing Transaction Management team (including origination). The team source and execute transactions for several well capitalised mandates, covering the European market. This person will manage and execute transactions- acquisitions focused- from start to finish, reporting to the head of team and Directors and overseeing analysts.
Role Responsibilities:
Coordinating transaction execution workstreams.
Structuring investments with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
Managing the due diligence process.
Working closely with local teams across Europe on the transactions.
Coordinating with various internal teams including legal, finance, and asset management, to conclude transactions.
Managing third party advisors.
Reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
Overseeing the team’s analysts in their financial modelling and preparation of IC papers.
Role Requirements:
Demonstrable professional experience in real estate investment, ideally within logistics, managing acquisition and disposal transactions.
An earlier career role as an analyst and strong existing numerical and Excel skills.
Experience coordinating internal and external DD teams.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field e.g., finance, real estate, business.
Strong communication skill- confident working with colleagues at all seniority levels.
Able to get on with things independently, but also work within a team.
Experience in European markets.
A native speaker of a European language would be ideal but is certainly not essential.
Highly motivated, ambitious and commercial.
