MRICS Building Surveyor - Senior Building Surveyor (Bristol)
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to join a leading UK multi-disciplinary consultancy who have long-standing repeat business with clients from large blue-chip organisations, pension funds and institutions through to private sector landowners, heritage bodies and public sector organisations. This strategic expansion of their Bristol team is due to an increase in work load and our client are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can make a long term contribution to developing this business in the Bristol area.
Remuneration:
£40,000 - £55,000 + benefits package + bonus
The Role:
The Building Surveyor will be joining an existing team of surveyors and gain a broad exposure across the company’s clients and their commercial (offices, retail and industrial premises), residential, education and heritage buildings. The role will focus on providing a full building surveying service while at the same time providing support to the other members of the Architecture and Building team. This will allow the Building Surveyor to have a broad exposure to various private and public sector clients with projects covering office dilapidations and CAT A / CAT B fit out, Grade I / II listed historic buildings surveys and reinstatement, PPM and various education, residential and culture refurbishment schemes across the county.

They are looking for someone interested in undertaking project management / contracts administration responsibilities alongside professional surveying duties for schemes of up to circa £2million.
Requirements:
MRICS qualified with a BSc in Building Surveying. (although they would be open to someone taking their RICS within the next 9 months)
Ideally 1 – 3 years PQE
Experience in Project Management, Contract Administration and Project Monitoring of a mixed property portfolio
Experience in professional surveying areas including dilapidations, conditions surveys, party wall matters, pre-acquisition surveys and defect diagnosis (although areas with limited experience can be trained)
Personality: Proactive, team player and professional with good communication and relationship building skills.
Full driving license
