Building Surveyor – Leading Surveying and Construction Consultancy
We are currently working with an award-winning multidisciplinary surveying and construction consultancy that work on impressive development schemes across the UK. They are an established SME with 100 people the business, providing a range of services to both public and private sector clients in the residential, commercial and educational sectors. They continue to grow year on year and as they take on bigger schemes with more clients, they are looking for a Building Surveyor to join the team and support this growth moving forward.
Remuneration:
£30,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
The Role:
The successful Building Surveyor will be based in their London office with a flexible working set up and report directly into the Associate Building Surveyor. They will be responsible for supporting the team on multiple residential and commercial development projects, undertaking a variety of surveys and inspections and working on multiple schemes simultaneously.
The team are a dynamic group of professionals driving the core function of the consultancy practice with an excellent client base and a strong project pipeline for 2023. The business have excellent progression opportunities, they are looking to take on a Building Surveyor that would look to progress into a Senior/Chartered Building Surveyor in the near future.

Requirements:
Degree or Equivalent in Building Surveying
Preferably two - three years’ experience within residential/commercial development
Experience acting as an Project Monitor would be advantageous
Familiar with, feasibility studies, writing reports and preparing documents (plans, contracts, budgets etc.)
Experience advising on and acting in accordance with CDM Regulations
Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
High levels of attention to detail and has the ability to independently solve problems
Personality: Sociable and ambitious with future leadership potential
