We are currently working with an award-winning multidisciplinary surveying and construction consultancy that work on interesting development schemes across the UK. They are an established SME with 100 people the business, providing a range of services to both public and private sector clients in the residential, commercial and educational sectors. They continue to grow year on year and as they take on bigger schemes with more clients, they are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor / Senior Building surveyor to join the residential development team and support this growth moving forward.
The Role:
The successful Chartered Building Surveyor will be based in their London office with a flexible working set up and report directly into the director of residential development. They will be responsible for supporting the team on multiple residential development projects, undertaking a variety of surveys and inspections and acting as an Employers Agent/Project Monitor on multiple schemes simultaneously.
The residential development team are a dynamic group of professionals driving the core function of the consultancy practice with an excellent client base and a strong project pipeline for 2023. The business have excellent progression opportunities, they are looking to take on a Chartered Building Surveyor / Senior Building Surveyor that would look to progress into an Associate Director role in the near future.

Requirements:
MRICS with a degree in Building Surveying
Preferably two years post qualified experience within residential development
Experience acting as an Employers Agent/Project Monitor would be advantageous
Familiar with, feasibility studies, writing reports and preparing documents (plans, contracts, budgets etc.)
Experience advising on and acting in accordance with CDM Regulations
Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
High levels of attention to detail and has the ability to independently solve problems
Personality: Sociable and ambitious with future leadership potential
