Our client is an exceptionally dynamic investor, developer, and manager within the high-end residential and commercial mixed-use London market. Due to their current development and future acquisition pipeline, they are looking for a technically astute Project Manager to join their London team. This is a client-side opportunity, overseeing the delivery of high-end development projects with good future growth potential.
Remuneration:
£60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits + Bonus (up to 30%)
The successful Project Manager will report into the Development Director and be involved in the full development lifecycle from inputting into the initial development appraisals at acquisition, through tender, design and planning to overseeing and managing the consultant and contractor teams in delivery to completion. The business has an excellent reputation for investing in prime London value-add developments across mid to high-end residential and mixed-use office space with projects valued circa £5 million - £20 million.
Initial projects will be the delivery phases of a grade II asset conversion into high-end serviced apartments with amenity space and an office cut and carve redevelopment with a three-storey extension. The ideal Project Manager will have developed their experience within a consultancy environment and have good technical JCT Contracts Administration and Employer’s Agent experience preferably within the high-end residential and office market. They are looking for a strong technical person who can take control of the contractor and lead the process through the critical pathway in addition to helping mentor an Assistant Project Manager within the team.
You will be joining small close-knit team and they are looking for a passionate and driven individual who will be a team player but also have the ability to think outside the box and independently manage projects.
Requirements:
- MRICS qualified preferable with a BSc in Project Management or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience within high-end residential, and office led mixed use sectors with good delivery experience of new build, cut and carve and refurbishment projects valued £5 million+.
- Strong technical programme management and JCT (D&B / traditional) contract knowledge.
- Core experience in tendering, appointing, and managing consultant & contractor teams.
- Good eye for detail, a passion for delivering a high-end product and a proactive, loyal and friendly persona.
