Client-side Project Manager – Industrial / Office development - London
We are currently working with an entrepreneurial investor, developer, operator who are expanding their UK team and looking for a Project Manager to join their London office. They are exceptionally well backed, and the role will oversee the development process of newly acquired industrial sites and the existing asset portfolio refurbishment projects.
Remuneration:
£70,000 - £85,000 + Benefits + Bonus
The Role:
The Project Manager / Senior Project Manager will report into the founders of the business and existing Development Manager and be responsible for the delivery, via JCT D&B contract, of their industrial new build and refurbishment projects, many with associated retail and office space. General construction costs will be between £5 million and £15 million, and you will have autonomy to oversee and lead multiple concurrent projects at various stages of delivery.Current development pipeline is circa. 10 projects with a future focus to develop 30 – 40 sites across the UK and similar in Europe.
The role will work across the 360-development process but with core responsibility for the project set up, project briefs, tender and management of the externals professional and contractor teams through design and management / reporting on project progress (time, quality and cost) in delivery. For their current acquisition pipeline, you will gain exposure and develop your skills in the front-end due diligence and planning stages.

Requirements
MRICS qualified preferable with a Degree in Project Management or Building Surveying.
Solid experience across the RIBA stages delivering industrial, warehouse, retail or office new build or refurbishment projects valued above £5 million.
Experience in JCT D&B, stakeholder management and high-level reporting.
Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast-growing investment / development business.
