Our client is a family run property company with a London based, predominantly commercial estate. The business is seeking to recruit a dual role covering compliance and commercial property management. The role will be a blend of compliance, property management and some asset management.
Key role responsibilities with include:
Reporting to the Senior Team in all aspects of the compliance of a mixed property portfolio.
The reporting will include an existing dashboard system and will require ongoing development and review.
Most of the reporting data will be compiled from managing agents and property managers who are responsible for the compliance of their individual properties.
Managing part of the commercial property portfolio:
Managing all aspects of day-to-day property management, mostly using 3rd Party Managing Agents.
Assisting with leasing and lease renewal activities
Carrying out regular site inspections across the whole portfolio (Industrial/Office/Retail/Leisure)
Assisting in the management of vacant properties pending re-letting or development.
Dealing with all tenant matters to include applications to alter, assign or sub-let and monitoring of tenant lease obligations.
Candidate Skills and Job Responsibilities
University Degree Qualification ideally in Real Estate but would consider equivalent.
5 Years + Work Experience with compliance and property management responsibilities for a property portfolio. This ideally would be within a property consultancy or property company.
This position would suit a candidate that wants a long-term career in commercial property within a progressive property company.
The salary for this position will depend on the prior experience of the successful candidate but is expected to have a range of £55,000 - £65,000 plus a bonus and benefits.
