Development Analyst - Leading Developer within BtR / PRS & Student accommodation - Surrey


Our client has been a leading Development and Construction business for over 30 years investing, building and managing projects across the residential, office, education / health and civil / infrastructure sectors. They are currently looking for a Development Analyst to join a growing division of their business who focus on the investment, development and management of student accommodation and residential PRS / BtR developments across the UK.



Flexible working arrangements 1/2 days from home

Other days in Hampshire, Surrey, or London office



£45,000- £55,000 + Car allowance + Benefits + Bonus


The Role:

The Development Analyst will support the growth of our client’s student accommodation, BtR and PRS developments, current construction values circa £100 million, in an analytical capacity. The role will report into the Development Director and working closely with the acquisition and investment teams the Analyst will be responsible for providing detailed analysis and appraisals of potential developments via excel modelling and for the updating and maintenance of appraisal information through the development process.


Due to this being a small team the Development Analyst will work closely with the Development Director and gain excellent exposure to the full development process; from securing funding, to providing detailed appraisals, to ensuring the optimal performance of existing development projects as they reach completion.


It is a great time to join this team which has significant growth expectations in the next 5 years. You will be involved in 3-4 projects simultaneously, in addition to creating models to secure funding for exciting future projects as the company continues to grow.



·        Degree in real estate or related property discipline

·        An analytically driven Development Surveyor or Development Analyst

·        Excellent understanding of Excel financial modelling (essential)

·        Detailed understanding of the development process

·        Able to produce high quality reports and present information in a clear and consistent manner

·        Comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
