The Company:
A leading asset and development management business with a long-standing track record in the repositioning retail is seeking a Development Manager to join their growing team. The business is partnered with major private equity and institutional outfits and has a long track record of implementing dynamic and innovative strategies via asset repositioning and development management.
The role:
This position will be Development Manager level and will assist the Development Director with the development management and repositioning of large dominant schemes, ranging from £5m refurbishments to £50m change of use projects or large scale masterplans.
The successful individual will have the following experience and attributes:
A strong grasp of property fundamentals, most likely via a structured APC rotation programme
Currently sitting in a development consultancy role or already a development manager
Experience with development appraisals, planning considerations, feasibility and viability analysis, including strong numerical skills in Excel
Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and manage third parties
MRICS qualification
Retail experience is not necessary but would be advantageous
Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities
A flexible and proactive approach
Remuneration:
The client is considering a range of experience- most likely 2-6 years PQE- so the salary will be dependant on experience but is most likely to be between £50,000 and £70,000 plus a competitive bonus.
