​The Company:

A leading asset and development management business with a long-standing track record in the repositioning retail is seeking a Development Manager to join their growing team. The business is partnered with major private equity and institutional outfits and has a long track record of implementing dynamic and innovative strategies via asset repositioning and development management.

The role:

This position will be Development Manager level and will assist the Development Director with the development management and repositioning of large dominant schemes, ranging from £5m refurbishments to £50m change of use projects or large scale masterplans.

The successful individual will have the following experience and attributes:

• A strong grasp of property fundamentals, most likely via a structured APC rotation programme

• Currently sitting in a development consultancy role or already a development manager

• Experience with development appraisals, planning considerations, feasibility and viability analysis, including strong numerical skills in Excel

• Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and manage third parties

• MRICS qualification

• Retail experience is not necessary but would be advantageous

• Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• A flexible and proactive approach

Remuneration:

The client is considering a range of experience- most likely 2-6 years PQE- so the salary will be dependant on experience but is most likely to be between £50,000 and £70,000 plus a competitive bonus.
