We are proud to be working exclusively with an entrepreneurial investment and development business who due to securing further development sites are looking for a Development Manager to join their London team.  The company, currently four experienced individuals, is looking for a driven Development Manager to become a key figure within the business as it expands in the UK and then into Europe.

£65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits + Bonus

The Role:
The Development Manager will join a small London team and have the autonomy and gravitas to lead the full development process from initial appraisal and acquisition through to sale / lease reporting into the head of development.  The initial site will be a London focused residential development with planning valued at circa £10 million with future 100+ units sites in the pipeline and aspirations for the business to expand into Europe.  The business has a core focus around innovation, sustainable design and technology and building strong long-term relationships.

The ideal Development Manager will be commercially astute to oversee the budgets, cash-flow, funding agreements, drawdowns and change management throughout the developments and be able to lead high level reporting into stakeholders and funding partners on development progress vs development agreement.  Experience of an interest in sustainable design, ESG and BREAM digitalising the development process would be beneficial.


  • Degree in Real Estate or Project Management,

  • Experience within residential development, preferably of multi-unit residential PRS / BTR developments, but other asset classes acceptable.

  • Experience in overseeing the 360-development cycle from front end appraisal and planning through tender and management of the development to PC.

  • Engaging, commercially astute and ambitious.
