We are currently working with the team responsible for leading the development of one of the world’s largest development schemes, the mega city of the future in Saudi by the Red Sea. This will cover an area of 26,000 Sqkm and will be powered by 100% renewable energy, setting the standard for renewable city’s developed in the future. Due to the large scale of the project, Falmouth Fairfax are currently working with the team to help find a number of individuals including Development Managers and Senior Development Managers to join the mainly expat team and contribute to the one of the world’s largest and most exciting development schemes.
Remuneration:

The Role:
The successful Development Manager / Senior Development Manager will be responsible for assisting and overseeing projects within the development of the city. This is a varied role that possess the opportunity to work on many different projects, supporting the team in managing the development of the first phase of the new city. This is within many sectors that include: Residential, Logistics, University, Stadia, Commercial, Leisure, Health, Retail and Strategic Land. This will involve supporting and overseeing these projects from inception through to completion, with particular emphasis on maximizing return on invested capital and operating profitability, including management of cashflow and development process. Ultimately, providing the bridge between the Development, Project Management, Construction, Cost and Infrastructure teams.
As the project is based out in Saudi we appreciate there is a lot to consider. Although, there are many benefits that come with working on such a project. Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Project Management, Architecture, Planning or Engineering from an accredited university – MBA would be desirable.
Preferably 8+ years of experience delivering development projects in the capacity of Project Manager / Development Manager. Excellent communication skills, with high standard of English, confident, ability to convey ideas and easily and interact with various stakeholders.
Good understanding of real estate from architectural concepts, feasibility studies, investment proposals with the ability to oversee the 360-delivery process.
Excellent problem solving, planning, organizing and analytical skills in the resolution of complex problems.
A good commercial understanding and the ability to analyse and promote value add opportunities balancing risk and reward.
