Development Project Manager – Boutique luxury hotel development - London


We are currently working with a specialist hospitality development management firm who have experience in leading some of the finest high-end development projects across the EMEA region.  They are currently expanding their London team and looking for an Development Project Manger to support the Principle of the business across a number of UK and European projects.

 

Remuneration:
£60,000 - £75,000 + Benefits + Bonus


The Role:
The Development Project Manager will be joining a small team of this growing business and will work with the Director overseeing the full cradle to grave development cycle from pre-acquisition through design and construction and operational opening for their hotel clients.  The business focuses on the top end of the market repositioning existing assets, new build developments and a large part is breathing life into old listed buildings to convert them into 5* boutique hotels.  Developments are across the UK and Europe from 50 – 500+ beds and project values of between £10 million and £200+ million.

 

The Development Project Manager will be based in their West London office and will work closely with the Development Director, design / FF&E team and investor / operators Asset Management team to deliver the schemes.  Core duties will include feasibility studies and acquisition advise, concept design and development brief proposal, planning, design, procurement of the professional (including external EA/CA) and contractor teams and management through the project lifecycle keeping the development in line with the initial appraisal.  Stakeholder management, cashflow forecasting and preparation of funder reports.


Requirements:

  • Degree in project management or real estate

  • MRICS / MAPM preferable but not essential

  • Circa 8+ years’ experience in project management or quantity surveying

  • Experience running projects preferably within the high-end hotel or the residential sectors between £5 million and £30+ million.

  • Ambitious to develop your experience in the high-end hotel market with a growing development management firm.
