The Company:
A highly dynamic, growing investment, asset and development management platform that specialises in-town retail and town centre regeneration is seeking a Director to join their growing Asset Management team. This individual will work under the Head of Asset Management in a deal focused, innovative asset management role.
Role profile:
Alongside working on a busy asset with a lot of leasing and a redevelopment angle, this individual will also manage two more junior asset managers with oversight for their assets.
As the position is working in a small team, this individual will work across the business in a varied and broad role. Specific role responsibilities will likely include:
Day to day asset management including setting and delivering strategy, running leasing activity and overseeing property managers
Running a portfolio of 7 assets via this role’s asset and the two junior asset managers.
Monitoring and overseeing work of juniors.
Multi-client, team and performance management tasks.
Personally overseeing and delivering the asset management of one newly acquired asset with a lot of leasing activity and a development angle to be explored, created and then delivered
Requirements:
A retail background including some shopping centre experience (essential), if not focused on this area.
Client facing and able to deliver presentations.
Enjoys doing and can deliver deals.
Previous experience as an agent before moving into a retail client side role.
Innovative and creative with a vision for the future of retail and excitement for creating this and driving it forward.
Commercial mindset.
Previous people management experience ideally.
Remuneration:
The salary of this position will likely be £100,000 – £120,000 but will be determined by prior experience. On top of this there is a performance related bonus on offer, healthcare and potential for carry in the future.
