We're pleased to announce our partnership with a leading real estate investment platform in London looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team. Specialising in urban and logistics properties across the UK, France, Germany, and the Netherlands, this innovative private equity manager manages about €4 billion in assets and has completed over 100 investments in more than 200 buildings. They’ve also secured around €1 billion in funding for future projects from a major institutional investor.

Renumeration:

£55000 – £65000 + 10–20% Bonus + Benefits


The Role  


This is a dynamic position within the Finance and Operations team, ideal for candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, and a growth mindset. The Finance analyst will engage in a variety of commercial finance and fund accounting tasks, including:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee timely and accurate management accounts for special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and fund consolidation in compliance with local and US GAAP standards.

  • Review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for SPVs, while managing cash flow and optimizing working capital.

  • Liaise with external auditors and maintain relationships with account-holding banks to prepare statutory accounts and report on covenants.

  • Collaborate with tax consultants for tax reporting (VAT, corporate) and structuring vehicles according to guidance, while managing budgets and conducting forecasts.

  • Coordinate with external company directors for group entity administration and enhance financial processes and systems.

  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, prepare debt covenants, and manage capital drawdowns effectively.

  • Foster investor relations with limited partners regarding accounting, capital drawdowns, and assist with portfolio management and asset performance monitoring.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably with ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in a native language such as French, German, Dutch, or Italian is preferred.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Background in real estate and familiarity with Yardi software are strongly preferred.

  • Experience in private equity accounting is advantageous; the role is full-time and based in London.
