Our client is a privately owned property company which invests both directly and in joint venture investments in a range of real estate assets, but with a primary focus on industrial and logistics, in UK and Europe.
The Position
Due to growth, our client is looking to recruit a Head of Asset Management who will have overall responsibility for a substantial and high profile industrial and logistics portfolio of across the UK and continental Europe - including well located multi-let urban logistics assets.
Key role responsibilities will include:
Responsible for identifying and implementing new approaches of working and driving value
Deep understanding of evolving needs of occupiers within their real estate
Clear understanding of modern building design and knowledge of ESG principles
Proactive approach to key occupier relationships
Create and implement portfolio strategies together with periodic asset analysis
Generate new development and asset management opportunities through selective site acquisition and assembly
Formulate and implement annual business plans for each asset
Asset management related tasks including; new lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, lease expiries/surrenders
Lead on development projects to ensure the execution of the business plan
Implement and oversee refurbishment programmes and asset repositioning
Manage third party service providers
Strong contribution to due diligence for UK acquisitions
Required Skills
Strong valuation and underwriting skills
Track record of delivering outperformance
MRICS Qualification and appropriate years of relevant experience for a role of this level
‘Absolute’ performance driven
Experience of managing logistics and industrial assets
Well connected in the UK & EUR logistics occupier community
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Remuneration
Basic salary of c. £95,000 - £125,000, dependant on experience, plus benefits and a competitive annual bonus.
