An investment and advisory business who have transacted on £bns of financings across the UK and European markets is seeking a Head of Origination to join their principal lending division focused on lending to property developers and real estate groups.

Role Overview

The Head of Origination will work within their Real Estate Development Lending team to lend across the capital structure and act as a key representative of the business to all stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

• Taking a lead origination role on all real estate transactions across the capital structure and real estate asset classes

• Liaising extensively with management teams, developers, brokers, intermediaries, investors and third party organisations

• Origination of new lending opportunities through pre-existing network and building new network

• Carrying out initial level due diligence on opportunities

• Relationship management throughout the transaction lifecycle

• Promoting the brand to a wider audience

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Track record of originating and leading transactions and developing key client relationships within the real estate sector

• Strong existing relationships and understanding of the current market conditions

• Personable with the ability to maintain key client relationships

• Great presentation skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills

• Able to balance multiple projects simultaneously

Remuneration

A salary range of up to £100,000 dependant on the specific experience and skill set of the candidate, plus benefits and bonus.
