The Company and Role
Our client is a leading global real estate investment manager with a multibillion-pound portfolio. This role will be working within their successful Value-Add team, and with a large capital injection to deploy there will be exposure to a high volume of transactions across a broad spectrum of asset classes and European markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex investment opportunities and supporting team members on all aspects of the investment process.
Main Responsibilities:
Involvement in deal underwriting, financial modelling, and structuring.
Prepare financial models to analyse transaction opportunities.
Prepare investment committee materials.
Involvement in deal structuring and closing, including the negotiation and execution of legal documentation.
Liaise with external partners and due diligence advisors such as operating partners, accountants, lawyers, and consultants during deal transaction.
Support internal departments on workstreams and existing AUM under the Team's remit.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Strong academic degree qualifications.
1-2 years’ experience.
Experience in real estate investment banking, institutional commercial real estate lending, principal real estate investing and/or development, with relevant deal exposure.
Proficient in financial modelling in Excel.
Familiarity with more complex capital structures.
European languages skills would be advantageous but not essential.
Remuneration
Competitive basic salary plus benefits and a competitive annual bonus.
