The Company

Our client is a privately held property company located in London. They are an active investor and developer focused on the office and residential markets in London, with a substantial portfolio under management. The Commercial Team are seeking an Investment Manager to join their growing team.

The Role

This role will be focused on our client’s multi-occupied office assets. With a focus on enhancing long-term returns of existing assets and targeting acquisitions for value add via refurbishment and redevelopment, our client is seeking an Investment Manager with a difference; a property professional who has experience of dealing with office buildings, who really knows how offices work, understands what occupiers expect from their accommodation, and recognises the importance of customer relations. The role coverage will include:

  • working on the evolution of flexible workspace

  • customer relations and service culture

  • day to day asset management

  • value add approach.

  • innovation via new initiatives, working closely with the in-house development team.

  • understanding and assessing performance.

Candidate profile

Our client is ideally seeking someone who has c. 5 years post qualification experience* and understands what occupiers expect from their office accommodation. Previous experience in either; office agency, corporate/occupier services, or valuation, in the London markets would be helpful but is not essential. Candidates with experience in office focused occupier services/ advisory are of particular interest.

Candidates should have agency side APC training and post qualified experience in the key areas of property (valuation, landlord and tenant etc), and should be numerical and happy being market facing.

The salary range for this role is being kept reasonably open to focus on securing the right person and not being too prescriptive. The level will be competitive and based on the prior experience of the successful candidate. In addition, there are comprehensive benefits and a competitive bonus included.
