Our client is an established investor and developer in both residential and commercial real estate. Their commercial assets are offices in London, and it is for the Commercial team that we are recruiting this Investment Surveyor position.
The commercial team have a portfolio and coverage of both traditional leased office investments and flexible workspaces. The team’s focus is to enhance the long-term returns from the existing portfolio and the targeted acquisition of assets which offer the opportunity for value-add, repositioning and development.
The successful candidate will be exposed to the entire lifecycle of Central London office investment from reviewing investment opportunities, adding value through active asset management and realising the asset’s performance either through valuation or sale. Responsibilities will include:
Sourcing and evaluating new investment and development opportunities with the team.
Assisting with compiling information to facilitate the acquisition / sales process.
Understanding and preparing cashflows and IRR analysis.
Assisting with financial viability appraisals of new opportunities.
Assisting with the formation of asset management strategies
Assisting with the execution of asset management initiatives
Our client’s ideal candidate will have the following:
MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential).
Demonstrable experience working in a London office focused investment or leasing role (essential)
A strong network of contacts in the London office market (essential)
A high level of numeracy and ability to manipulate data within Excel.
The successful candidate's basic salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be £60,000 - £65,000, though there is flexibility on this. In addition to this, they will get a full benefits package and annual discretionary bonus.
