The Company

Our client is a shopping centre focused platform, focused on investment, management and enhancement of retail property, creating dynamic destinations for the local communities.

The Role

Working within the leasing team, this hire will join at Leasing Executive level, bringing an energetic, experienced, dynamic, space- selling approach to the successful team. With a focus on creative and tailored leasing options, whether a multi-site deal or a one off to an independent, this individual will work with our client’s retail partners’ needs and provide bespoke leasing options to them.

Role and candidate Requirements

Our client is open to the background of this individual- it is more about personality- as long as they have the below experience and qualities:

  • Demonstrable experience successfully leasing space. This does not have to be in retail, though obviously this is advantageous. Other sector experience would be considered such as from a comparable sector such as flexi offices, for example.

  • Able to take a deal through from initial call through to onboarding the new tenant into the shopping centre, working closely with the shopping centre manager throughout.

  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships with both retailers and centre management.

  • Able to communicate clearly in a way that non-property individuals can understand.

  • Focused on achieving and exceeding set targets and thriving in this environment.

  • Able to work closely with the asset management team to ensure leasing activity is in line with the wider asset and tenant mix strategy.

  • Energetic, relationship-led and focused approach.


Candidates for this role could be from various professional backgrounds and therefore the salary will be dependant on experience (likely up to c. £80,000). The client pays competitively and the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a highly competitive commission entitlement.
