The Company:

A highly dynamic, growing investment, asset and development management platform that specialises in-town retail repositioning and town centre regeneration is seeking a Fund/ Portfolio Manager to join their growing team. This individual will report to the internal Board and external JV partners, and will be focused on managing internal teams and driving performance across the portfolio.

Core responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall performance of assets under their direction / leadership.

• Leading in house Teams- Finance, ESG, Leasing and Operations

• Asset management- will be involved in some direct asset management (operations and/ or leasing).

• Reporting to Institutional Investors on performance of assets.

• Assist/ support fund raising activity.

• Oversee implementation of new systems.

• Helping grow business/ assets under management.

• Reporting to internal IC on assets

• Direct report to one of the Board members as line manager.

Requirements:

• A fund management background- most likely someone in an AFM role currently, or a recently appointed FM, seeking next career step

• People management experience and the ability to manage teams

• Although not requiring a retail specialist, understanding of retail is important for this role

• Strong analytical skills

• Experience managing JV partners and Investor Relations

• The ability to critically question/ challenge/ motivate and run project leaders

Remuneration:

The salary of this position will likely be £100,000 – £120,000 but will be determined by prior experience. On top of this there is a performance related bonus on offer, healthcare and potential for carry in the future.
