Project Director - Client-side Hotel portfolio
We are currently working with and exceptional investment and development business who are growing their hotel business and looking for a Project Director to oversee the refurbishment of their global 4/5* hotel portfolio.

The Role:
The Project Director will manage a small team and be focused on leading the 360-project management of the businesses existing hotel asset refurbishment projects across the RIBA cycle making sure they are delivered on time, budget and to exceptional quality. The Project Management team works closely with the Asset Management and Design teams looking at driving increased revenue through refurbishment and therefore they are looking for someone who understands the hotel owner operator business model. Projects will be across the UK, Europe and some further afield with CAPEX construction costs between c.£500k and £30 million with some larger schemes coming online in the future.
The role is based in the London office and will require some travel to projects in the UK and overseas. They are looking for a proactive hands-on Project Director who has 5+ years’ experience leading hotel projects and problem solving. The core role will cover initial feasibility and design through building the external consultant and contractor team and developing the client briefs, project and development programme via MS Project or similar and managing the CAPEX budgeting and cashflow through the schemes to practical completion and hand over to the operational teams.
Requirements:
MRICS / MAPM qualified with a BSc in Project Management, Building or Quantity Surveying
10+ years’ experience running 360 projects preferably within the hotel, hospitality or high-end residential sector with projects valued up to £30 million
Experience in leading the project programme, CAPEX budgeting and problem solving
Personality: Fun, detail focused and commercially astute with good stakeholder management experience.
