Project Manager - Client-side Hotel portfolio
We are currently working with an exceptional investment and development business who are growing their hotel project team and are looking for a Project Manager to oversee the refurbishment of their global 4/5* hotel portfolio.
Remuneration:
£60,000 - £75,000 + Benefits + Bonus
The Role:
The Project Manager will join a dynamic development, project and asset management team who oversee a worldwide hotel portfolio based from their high-end London office. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the existing hotel asset refurbishment projects across the RIBA cycle making sure they are delivered on time, budget and to exceptional quality. The Project Management team works closely with the Asset Management and Design teams looking at driving increased revenue through refurbishment and therefore they are looking for someone who understands the hotel owner operator business model. Projects will be across the UK, Europe and some further afield with CAPEX construction costs between c.£500k and £30 million with some larger schemes coming online in the future.
The role is based in the London office and will require some travel to projects in the UK and overseas. They are looking for a proactive hands-on Project Manager who has 5+ years’ experience in hotel or high-end residential projects and problem solving. The core role will cover initial feasibility and design, producing the client briefs, building the programme via MS Project and tendering and management of the external consultant and contractor teams through delivery to completion and operational handover. They are looking for a commercially astute individual who has experience of CAPEX budgeting and cashflow management.
Requirements:
MRICS / MAPM qualified with a BSc in Project Management or Quantity Surveying
5+ years’ experience running 360 projects preferably within the hotel, hospitality or high-end residential sector with projects valued up to £30 million
Experience in leading the project programme, CAPEX budgeting and problem solving
Personality: Fun, detail focused and commercially astute with good stakeholder management experience.
