The Company

Our client is a leading central London focused property and asset management offering. Working with a broad range of high profile clients from HNWI to global investment managers with central London office assets, this business is a leader in its field offering exciting and forward thinking services in addition to their core property and asset management services. These include advising on developments for management purposes, tech integration and varied ESG advisory. As the team continues to grow, our client is seeking a Surveyor/ Senior Surveyor to work in a sub-team focused on London trophy office assets.

The Role

In a broad property and asset management role that spans all of the above areas, this individual will be responsible for all aspects of a portfolio of commercial property assets, with an emphasis on proactive management, building relationships with all stakeholders and delivering an above-market service and occupier experience.

This individual will also be integral to the formation and delivery of ESG strategies to meet the client’s needs, embracing technology and innovation in driving efficiencies.

Likely responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with clients, tenants and contractors.

  • Manage and develop all property personnel.

  • Where required, train, mentor, and continually develop junior staff.

  • Negotiate contracts and supervise all contractor services.

  • Manage all fiscal activities of the property.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a marketing and leasing strategy for both current and prospective tenants in collaboration with asset managers or owners to meet performance objectives.

  • Serve as primary contact with owner and prepare bespoke reports as needed.

  • Take full responsibility for Health and Safety monitoring and performance.

Experience

  • RICS qualified or a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Commercial Property Management.

  • P&L responsibility and budgetary experience.

  • Experience managing office assets

Experience level and remuneration

The basic salary of the role will be dependant on experience but will be up to £57,000 plus benefits and a discretionary bonus.
