A private equity partnered leading, dynamic and growing life science investor developer that provides high-quality laboratory space is seeking a Real Estate Analyst to join their growing team.
The Role
In a full life cycle role, this individual will prepare and maintain complex financial models across a range of assets and manage the reporting on the performance of those assets to senior management and external stakeholders.
The role will support an Associate Director with creation of the annual budget, capital expenditure monitoring and capital expenditure forecasting. Although this will not be the key element of the role, this individual will also provide support to the Investment team with modelling and due diligence output.
Key Responsibilities
Across all disciplines and sites, you will have responsibility for supporting in:
Creation and maintenance of Excel financial models for real estate assets
Monthly reporting of asset performance against underwrite and budget
Reporting historical and forecast capital expenditure requirements
Working alongside the Investment team, preparing accurate financial models and performing due diligence tasks
Liaising with external stakeholders and internal teams for the annual budget and forecasting
Liaison with valuers for asset valuations
Candidate requirements
Demonstrable analytical experience in a real estate analyst role (full time employment)-
essential
Experience of creating and maintaining complex financial models.
Must be able to model from scratch.
Advanced Excel knowledge and comfort manipulating large volumes of data
Advanced PowerPoint knowledge
Candidates for this position should be excited about working on the full life cycle of these large life science assets. Whilst there will be investment analysis content to this position, it is not suitable for those wishing to move to focus on acquisitions/ investment.
Remuneration
The basic salary of this role will depend on prior experience but the position salary range will be up to £65,000 plus benefits and bonus.
