Senior Asset Manager

 

A development- focused private investment company with multiple offices across Europe are seeking a Senior Asset manager to join their growing team. With office and residential development projects currently live, this person’s role will be focused on the office assets, though there is some residential coverage within the position’s remit.

 

Key role responsibilities will include:

 

  • Producing and implementing business plans for individual assets.

  • Inputting into the underwriting of potential new acquisitions, including financial modelling and technical due diligence.

  • Driving sustainable rental growth through the rent review, re-gear and renewal process with regular assessment of hold / sell analysis.

  • Identifying opportunities for change of use from offices to residential (rental) and working with the development team to ensure their implementation.

  • Leasing and managing the residential market let portfolio including overseeing dilapidations as well as light & heavy refurbishment opportunities.

  • Overseeing the successful delivery of budgeted Capex projects (developments and refurbishments) working with the Development Managers.

  • Providing strategic direction and appropriate guidance and leadership for the team.

 

Experience and knowledge requirements:

 

  • Demonstrable Excel skills will be required including financial modelling (ability to use and manipulate existing models and the ability to appraise a wide range of AM initiatives).

  • Substantial experience of working in London office sector (essential). Some experience in Senior Living or PBSA sector is desirable.

  • Experience in asset management and investment transactions (inputting into from an asset management perspective).

  • Demonstrable experience supervising agents, other third parties and solicitors.

  • Educated to degree level.

  • RICS qualified.

Remuneration

Salary for this role will be dependent on the successful candidates’ current level and prior experience, but it is expected to be c. £100,000 - £110,000, plus benefits and a competitive discretionary bonus.
