Senior Building Surveyor / Project Manager – Surrey - £1 million - £10 million projects

We are currently working with a regional Building Surveying practice based in Surrey who are continuing to expand their team. They have a secure pipeline of work and are looking or a Project Management / Contracts Administration biased Building Surveyor to join the team working on projects up to c. £10 million.
Remuneration:
£50,000 - £55,000 + benefits package + quarterly bonus
The Role:
The Senior Building Surveyor will be joining a mid-sized practice of circa 15 people in a project focused surveying role. The business has some long-term relationships within the primary care, private and public education and local authorities in addition to private clients across Surrey giving a diverse cross section of projects from smaller CAPEX refurbishment and reinstatement works £10,000 - £1 million through to larger £1.5 million - £4 million shell and core office fit-outs, £3 million private school refurbishment and extension and £11 million primary care and transport depo new build.
The Senior Building Surveyor will be 80% project biased in an Employers Agent / Contracts Administration role and 20% will be professional services such as dilapidations, party wall advice, condition surveys etc. They are a very employee focused business with good work life balance, career development and a fun culture with away days, nights out, charity events and overseas trips. The role will be client and project focused due to secure workloads, but they would welcome surveyors who are interested in developing their business development and networking skills if this is of interest. Future career progression into Director level is a key element of this role for the right proactive Building Surveyor.
Requirements:
MRICS qualified with a BSc in Building Surveying.
Experience in Project Management, Contract Administration and Employers Agent of a mixed property portfolio
Experience in Health, Education and Office sectors advantageous
Personality: Proactive, team player with good communication and a focus on client care and qualify of work.
