Senior CDM Consultant – Leading Property and Development Consultancy – London

​We are currently working closely with one of the UK’s leading SME’s, an independent multidisciplinary property and development consultancy that work on a variety of landmark development projects across the UK. They currently have an opportunity for a Senior CDM Consultant to join the building and development team and support them on a cross section of projects throughout the UK.

Remuneration:

£55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits (including: hybrid working 2 days from home, car allowance and pension scheme.

The Role:

The successful Senior CDM Consultant will play a key role in advising clients and principle designers on their duties under H&S regulations. They will be responsible for providing support services to a variety of clients on large development schemes, acting as the CDM Advisor and Principal Designer on multiple schemes simultaneously.

Reporting directly into the CDM Partner, the successful candidate will be working on projects across all of their core sectors, with a current focus on residential, retail and education, with values of up to £270 million. The business work on a mix of great projects within a variety of sectors, mainly across London and the Home Counties.

The team has an excellent culture and are fully committed to CPD, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress into an Associate Director position. Additionally, within this role there is opportunity to manage Graduate/Assistants that are currently within the team. The business has an excellent client base with a strong principle and reputation for delivering excellent service to all of their clients.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH qualification and/or relevant design related qualification

  • Membership of IOSH/IIRSM/CIOB is preferable

  • APS Membership/accreditation (CMAPS preferable)

  • Experience in applying CDM regulations and delivering CDM advisory services

  • Knowledge of the design risk management process and the principles of prevention

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Ability to communicate and network confidently with clients, contractors and consultants
