Senior Development Manager - Industrial and Logistics - Investment Management business

We are working exclusively with a leading property, investment and asset advisory business in the Industrial and Logistics sector to help them recruit a Senior Development Manager to their London team. They are a medium sized firm with offices across the UK and are looking for a Senior Development Manager to take a lead role in their significant acquisition programme and oversee the development from end to end.

 

Remuneration:

£85,000 - £120,000 + benefits package + Bonus

 

The Role:

Based in from their west London office with some travel across the UK, the Senior Development Manager will be responsible for the implementation of a significant development programme, including input into the development appraisals and pre-bid evaluation, acquisition construction due diligence and liaison with third party developers through the entire development process and post PC reporting back into the Partners and Fund. The Development Manager will also be responsible for appointing and overseeing external consultancy teams across the 360-development process from initial feasibility and planning through to completion for their direct development projects.

 

Projects will comprise the procurement of small and midbox logistics sites valued at between £10 million and c.£100 million GDV, (c.10,000 – 200,000 Sqft) for their high-profile investment clients.

The business has a focused investment target and are looking to expand their advisory team over the next 5 years. Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified with a degree in Construction Project Management or Real Estate

  • Solid experience leading the 360-development process of Industrial new build and refurbishments with construction costs above £15 million.

  • Commercially astute and natural leadership ability with good stakeholder management and reporting skills.

  • Strong communication and organisation skills to work within a fast passed environment.
