Senior Development Manager - Industrial & Office – Client-side
We are currently retained by a leading global investor, developer and manager with a £1+ billion office and industrial asset portfolio. They have a strategic plan to double their industrial and logistic AUM in the next 5 years and are looking for a Senior Development Manager to lead this growth and oversee the set up and end to end project management delivery of these developments across the UK. The role will be based in their London office reporting into the head of development and exec board.
Remuneration package:
Package in the region of £100,000 - £135,000 p.a.
The Role:
The Senior Development Manager will report into the head of development and projects and will lead brown field new build and major asset enhancement projects across their estate. They are looking for a Development Manager with good brown field experience of leading industrial new build projects valued at circa £20 million from post-acquisition through planning and oversight of external teams and JV development partners to completion and input into the future development appraisals. They currently have a solid investment and development pipeline with schemes covering 20,000 – 200,000 Sqft in addition to the smaller existing portfolio refurbished schemes. In addition to the industrial development work the Senior Development Manager would also have exposure to grade A office developments and refurbishments.

Requirements:
MRICS qualified preferable but not essential.
Degree in Project Management or Real Estate.
Solid experience leading the 360-development process of brown field Industrial and Logistic sites above 50,000 Sqft.
Additional experience in industrial and office refurbishment programmes.
Commercially astute with good stakeholder management and reporting skills.
Strong communication and organisation skills to work within a fast passed environment.
