Senior Development Manager (Industrial Assets) – Client-side – London

Our client is a leading global investor, developer and manager with a multi £billion asset portfolio.  Due to further expansion of their office and industrial assets and land holdings in the UK they are looking for a Senior Development Manager to lead their Industrial strategic brown field developments and existing asset refurbishment projects.


£90,000 - £125,000 + Benefits + Bonus

The Role:

The Senior Development Manager will have responsibility for overseeing their strategic brown field industrial developments (circa 30,000 Sqft to 150,000 Sqft industrial units) from acquisition and

feasibility through planning and delivery to completion in addition to managing a £20 million CAPEX spend across their existing asset portfolio for refurbishment and enhancement projects. The role will oversee external project teams in the delivery phases and report into the head of development and board as the business looks to double their industrial asset base over the next three years with already secured investment and funding.

  • MRICS qualified with a degree in Project Management or Real Estate.

  • Solid experience leading the 360-development process of Industrial and Office new build and refurbishments with construction costs above £10 million.

  • Experience in strategic brown field development, inputting into the acquisition, development appraisal and feasibility.

  • Commercially astute and natural leadership ability with good stakeholder management and reporting skills.

  • Strong communication and organisation skills to work within a fast passed environment.
