The Company and Role

A leading global investment management platform is seeking a Senior Investment Manager to join their team and be responsible for driving the UK fund investment strategies. The role will be focused on the UK multi sector markets, across the risk spectrum, including development. Role objectives include:

  • To generate, identify and capitalise on opportunities in the market

  • To support the growth plan for the business in UK

Position responsibilities

  • Originate and provide constant deal flow of on-market and off-market opportunities

  • Demonstrate ability to target opportunities directly with owners and vendors rather than just through brokers.

  • Prepare sound acquisition proposals, including qualitative and quantitative information

  • Conduct investment analysis, and lead the underwriting and due diligence processes in close cooperation with various external and internal teams

  • Participate actively in negotiations and closing of transactions.

  • Coordinate local due diligence teams on acquisitions and drive forward execution to close.

  • Manage relevant capital partners and investor relationships, as well as third-party relationships

Qualifications, experience and personal competencies

  • Finance or Real Estate-related degree or equivalent qualification

  • Experience in real estate capital / investment markets in the UK, both on the advisor and principal side (ideally)

  • Broad experience of structuring acquisition / disposal transactions

  • Track record of sourcing off-market opportunities

  • Ideally, RICS membership

  • Financial knowledge, including strong fundamental understanding of financial cash flow analysis, capital market pricing and mechanics of potential deals

  • Extensive network of contacts, both within agencies and investors

  • High level of motivation and personal responsibility

Remuneration

Basic salary of c. £100,000 - £120,000, dependant on experience, plus benefits, a competitive annual bonus and mid-long term incentives.
