Role Objectives
Our client, a leading pan-European investment platform, is seeking a Transactions Analyst to join their team, focussing on the analysis and execution of multi sector real estate acquisitions across UK and Europe. As part of the team the successful candidate be involved in every aspect of the transaction (asset underwriting, modelling, variation, analysis of portfolio) providing great exposure and learning opportunities to different sectors and geographical locations.
Position Responsibilities
Assist the Transactions Team members and local teams in the underwriting and execution of deals.
Conduct financial analysis of a wide range of real estate investments including modelling of real estate cash flows and financing.
Undertake research and liaise with key stakeholders to support key underwriting assumptions.
Preparation of documents for internal and external purposes, including investment committee reports.
Participate in meetings with investors, clients and advisors, be a key member of deal screening meetings and participate in Investment Committee meetings.
Assist the fund manager of a pan-European mandate with the co-ordination of business plan forecasting and reviewing of actuals (on a quarterly basis)
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Ideally 2 years’ of commercial real estate analysis experience
Demonstrable experience of creating property cashflows and ability to build and adjust financial models from scratch.
Fluent English. Other European languages (especially French and / or German) are a bonus but not a requirement.
Remuneration
Basic salary of up to £55,000, dependant on experience, plus benefits and a competitive annual bonus.
