​A specialist UK logistics & industrial development and asset manager focused on executing value-add and development strategies is seeking an Investment Analyst to join their growing team prompted by recent acquisitions and growing PE partner interest. The role will support origination, underwriting, due diligence and execution of UK urban logistics acquisitions and developments, with heavy Excel modelling exposure and a PE pace of work.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Being part of a small team, this person will gain broad exposure to the investment process. Primary emphasis on Excel cashflows, underwriting, and diligence coordination:

• Market & Asset Research

• Underwriting & Modelling: Build and maintain granular Excel cashflows (acquisition, development, hold/sell), scenario/sensitivity analysis, waterfall mechanics, and KPI dashboards.

• Risk Assessment:

  Evaluate and quantify risks associated with specific investments

• Due Diligence:

  Lead comprehensive due diligence processes for potential investments

• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare clear and detailed investment memos and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• 1-3 years proven experience as an Investment Analyst, preferably within the logistics or related sectors.

• Advanced Excel skills (nested formulas, data tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX‑MATCH, sensitivities).

• Knowledge of UK financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and logistics industry trends.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset, capable of making data-driven recommendations.

Salary & Remuneration:

A salary range of £40,000 - £55,000, dependant on experience, plus a discretionary, performance related bonus at PE level.
