Our client is a leading investment management company with offices in North America and Europe and a multi-billion portfolio under management.

The Company is expanding its AUM and during 2022 a substantial pool of equity has been raised for deployment into their established industrial development strategy. To support this, the business is seeking to expand its deal execution capacity through the creation of a new business division and the recruitment of a senior investment manager in a Managing Director role.  


Our client is seeking an exceptional individual who is entrepreneurial, self-motivated and driven to succeed to lead an expansion of capability in order to acquire, develop and exit industrial real estate opportunities.

The Business Strategy will be to acquire land unconditionally, speculatively develop high quality new build industrial and trade on once let with a focus on the South East region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Working together with the board to formulate and execute the Business Strategy in order to maximise profits;

  • Principal focus on acquisitions;

  • Organically to grow (and thereafter manage) the team in response to project needs;

  • Leveraging skillset across the wider business including: legal, finance, marketing, acquisition analytics teams;

  • Primary focus on investing the company’s managed funds.

Candidate profile

  • 10 - 15 years’ experience working in real estate with a particular focus on direct acquisition and development in industrial assets the South

  • Proven track record of acquisitions;

  • Strong agency / market contacts network;

  • Strong financial numeracy;

  • Entrepreneurially minded with an ability to work independently;


The successful candidate will be rewarded with a market level salary (likely to be up to £150,000 but with some flexibility), benefits package (pension, healthcare, life assurance etc) and bonus structure (both STIP and LTIP).
